With the mid winter break upon us, its time to look back on another truly outstanding year for the club in 2009. With the move to Germany the Senior 1st XV have consolidated their position in mid table, while the new 2nd team have won their first two games. All signs of the strength of the club and the demand for rugby in Luxembourg.

 

The juniors continue to flourish and planning is already well under way for the annual under 13s tournament in May, so keep the date free.

 

There are a number of social events planned in January and February to beat off the winter blues and the ever popular 'Fanstasy 6 Nations' competition will be running once more with the generous support of AVIVA, to whom the club is most grateful. Ofcourse, it will all be happening down at The Tube, who will again be screening all of the games live and hosting the now traditional 6 Nations party nights.

 

The club is also working hard behind the scenes with new kit for the seniors and touch teams due to arrive soon and hopefully some good news regarding additional sponsors. Watch this space!

 

Rugby is a sport for all ages, shape, size, creed, colour and nationality. 

The club is expanding at a phenomenal rate and we are always glad to welcome new people, so whatever your previous sporting experience was, why not put on a pair of boots and come and join Luxembourg’s most successful club!

One thing we guarantee is that you will have a lot of fun and make many new friends, for those reading this that are over 19 we are looking for more players, come along and give it a try, whatever your level of expertise you will find Tuesday evenings a lot of fun and we do start every season with the very basics of Rugby.
