RCL announce New Junior Coaches and Pre-season Camp dates

RCL are delighted to introduce 4 new coaches who will be augmenting the existing junior coaching team for the 2017/18 campaign in Belgium.

Rikard Lundgren
is a former Swedish international, Wasps 2nd XV and Boitsfort player with 13 years of youth coaching experience. Rikard is the new U18s head coach and will be hoping to replicate his Junior National Championship successes in Belgium and Sweden.

Scott Browne
is a current Luxembourg international having played for Towcestrians, Canterbury and Moseley. He is a qualified Physical Education teacher and will be working with the junior and ecole sections as a skills coach and a coaches coach. Scott will help RCL’s new U8s-U12s Tuesday and Thursday afternoon training.

James Kent
Is the current Performance Analyst and Skills Coach for Canadian National Senior Women’s Squad. James will advise the junior teams on strength and conditioning matters.

Ntsolo Setlaba
is a former University Cape Town u20s “Ikeys” Captain and Kwa-Zulu Natal 7s player. Ntsolo will assist as a skills coach and mentor for the U16s and U14s.

RCL will be holding their annual Pre-season Camp, sponsored by Prisma, from the 28th of August to the 1st of September with professional coaches from the UK and Ireland This year children as young as 7 are invited to join the camp.
