Rugby Club Luxembourg is recruiting: Assistant Forwards Coach

Rugby Club Luxembourg is looking for an Assistant Coach specialised in forwards to support our senior men’s squad competing in Bundesliga 1 for the 2026/2027 season.

We are looking for someone with strong rugby knowledge, field experience, and the motivation to help develop a competitive forwards pack at a high amateur level.

Commitment:

This is not a professional full-time coaching role. It is a high-level amateur coaching opportunity, representing around 5 to 6 hours per week, plus travel for matches.

Key areas of expertise:

·       Strong technical understanding of key forwards positions and their specific demands
·       Technical knowledge of set pieces, especially scrum and lineout
·       Technical and tactical understanding of forwards’ movement in open play
·       Playing and coaching experience on the field

Profile we are looking for:

·       Based in or working within the Greater Region: Luxembourg, Wallonia, Moselle
·       Enthusiastic & good communication skills
·       World Rugby coaching qualification or equivalent national certification is a strong plus
·       Comfortable communicating in English and/or French

Availability required:

·       Two training evenings per week: Monday and Wednesday
·       Matchday availability on Saturdays
